/May 10th 09 - Another fantastic East Lothian Nearly New Sale!!
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make our May 09 sale such a huge success. Thanks to all our buyers, sellers and volunteers - we hope you enjoyed it and that you were able to grab a bargain or ten!
We got lots of great feedback from people afterwards too, so thanks to everyone who got in touch after the day - it means a lot to us to know you loved it too!
Our next sale will be in November 2009. More details, including registration, volunteering and selling details will be published here nearer the time.
About our sales
The NCT knows how expensive it is to buy brand new items for your young ones. Our Nearly New Sales are a great way to get hold of top-quality baby and children’s clothes and equipment at much reduced prices, straight from their loving owners.
Alternatively, if you have good quality items, such as toys, clothes or baby equipment (there are some rules about what we can sell), you could sell them at a Nearly New Sale and earn some money for yourself and the NCT. You can also donate items that you no longer need.
The East Lothian Nearly New Sale team - Can you help?
Have you ever wondered how much work goes into organising a Nearly New Sale? (The answer is: a lot!)
For 2009 the East Lothian branch of the NCT has a dedicated team of 8 involved in the organisation of its sales. Fiona, Rona, Gillian, Kathy, Jen, Natalie, Mila and Mandy will be working together in the coming year to sustain the ever popular Nearly New Sales, which are held twice a year in the Corn Exchange in Haddington. All eight team members are busy mums, balancing young children with work, study and other commitments and we are extremely grateful to them for giving up their time to support the work of the NCT in a way that benefits so many other parents in (and beyond) East Lothian.
Would you like to be involved? When you volunteer you'll have fun, meet lots of lovely people, and of course will be eligible to attend the fantastic preview sale on the day of the sale (so you can be among the first to grab a bargain!)
