Nearly New Sales
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make our November 08 sale such a huge success! Thanks to all our buyers, sellers and volunteers - we hope you enjoyed it and that you were able to grab a bargain or ten!
Our next sale will be on the 10th May 2009, with registration for sellers opening at the beginning of April. The sale will be advertised in the East Lothian Courier, and of course here on our website.
About our sales
The NCT knows how expensive it is to buy brand new items for your young ones. Our Nearly New Sales are a great way to get hold of top-quality baby and children’s clothes and equipment at much reduced prices, straight from their loving owners.
Alternatively, if you have good quality items, such as toys, clothes or baby equipment (there are some rules about what we can sell), you could sell them at a Nearly New Sale and earn some money for yourself and the NCT. You can also donate items that you no longer need.
New for 2008 - East Lothian Nearly New Sale Team - Can you help?
The introduction of e-mail registration at our last sale was hugely successful and has enabled us to review the way in which we manage pre-sale organisation.
In the next few months we are hoping to put together a Nearly New Sale Team which would work to organise future sales. Would you like to be involved? There would be scope for all levels of commitment and for various talents; from those who would like to become involved in overseeing the entire event to those who are willing to stuff envelopes.
We would welcome somebody willing to take on an advertising role and poster distributors throughout East Lothian. We would also welcome those who would simply like to be more involved on the day.
