The NCT (also known as the National Childbirth Trust) is the UK's leading charity for parents.
Here in East Lothian we run regular antenatal classes, and with two antenatal teachers, a breastfeeding counsellor, a trainee postnatal leader, and a brilliant network of mums, we offer advice, resources and support throughout your pregnancy, birth and early parenthood.

Boost your confidence as a parent by participating in this 2-hour Baby First Aid Course, run in partnership with British Red Cross.
The course will take place on Wednesday 11th July, 7pm-9pm at The Trinity Centre in Haddington. Places cost £25 per person or £45 per couple. For more information on the course or to book a place email us at info@ncteastlothian.org.uk
Our next popular Nearly New Sale will take place this Sunday 20th May between 2 and 3.30pm at the Corn Exchange in Haddington.

We are delighted to launch NCT East Lothian's first ever Early Days Course with our Postnatal Leader student Larraine Rettie. The course gives new parents the opportunity to share their experiences of life with a newborn, explore different approaches to important parenting issues and meet other local parents in a friendly and relaxed environment. A big THANK YOU to everybody who came along to the NCT PUB QUIZ - it was a great night out and we raised a whopping £340 for the NCT's activities in East Lothian! YAY! Congratulations to winning team Alex, Fraser, Richard, Stacey and Caroline for successfully defending their title and a huge THANK YOU to all the companies that generously donated prizes to the raffle. And most of all thank you to Fiona and Kate for organising the whole shebang! You are stars! :-D

It'll be a great chance to get to know some of our volunteers, find out what East Lothian NCT has been up to over the past year and see how you can get involved. |
Led by our qualified antenatal teachers, our classes help prepare you and your partner for labour, your babys birth and early parenthood.
Our small, informal classes are renowned for providing parents with reliable information and choice, as well as creating a wonderful environment of shared experiences where many people make lifelong friends.
We are now booking for classes in June/July 2012, Aug/Sept 2012 and Oct/Nov 2012.

Coffee, cake, chat and play! Our popular coffee groups for mums & dads, mums-to-be, babies and young toddlers - every Thursday, 10-11:30am, Poldrate, Haddington.
(Everyone is welcome - you don't have to be a member)
